Family Law

Family law matters comprise approximately 85% of Rachel’s practice. She regularly drafts and/or litigates prenuptial agreements, divorce cases involving property division, alimony, and child custody, child support matters, appeals, and post-divorce litigation in which child custody, child support, or alimony are at issue.

Rachel has experience handling divorce cases involving couples whose combine monthly income is several thousand dollars to several hundred thousand dollars. She has worked on high net worth divorce matters involving parties who were country music stars, rock stars, and music or business executives. Rachel regularly uses her background experience as a commercial litigator to handle divorce issues involving business valuation and dissolution, real estate valuation, and intellectual property rights.

Rachel has also worked on family law matters involving litigation pending simultaneously in several states or involving cross-country moves or business commutes.

Business Litigation

Rachel also represents a number of Middle Tennessee businesses in litigation involving business dissolutions, commercial leases, and other contract disputes. Some of Rachel’s most recent business clients have included local and chain restaurants and bars, yoga studios, and an international stone import company.
